EXISTENZGRÜNDUNGEN
With the EXIST-Gründer scholarship, EXIST Research Transfer, and EXIST-Women programms, the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy particularly promotes innovative start-up ideas from universities, colleges, and research institutes, increases the proportion of women in entrepreneurship, and strengthens the diversity of start-up teams.
We offer you intensive support in applying for projects and assist founders during the EXIST funding phase with all start-up-related questions. We assist in finding a qualified coach/start-up consultant and are available for all matters relating to start-up preparation through regular appointments. We aid communication with the project promoter, keep track of appointments, and ensure a smooth process for the funding project.
EXIST-Gründer Scholarship
To support innovative technology-oriented startup ideas from universities, the BMWK has launched the EGS. In this program, a team of up to three people receives a one-year scholarship, which includes not only living expenses but also material resources and coaching support.

EXIST-Research Transfer
This program, also initiated by the BMWK, serves to promote outstanding, research-based projects that require high-risk development work. Funding is possible for up to three years, whereby in addition to a research team of up to three employees, a business economist can also be funded.

EXIST-Women
This beginner-friendly program supports women interested in starting a business on the phase of idea generation. The aim is to get more women excited about the topic of start-ups and to significantly increase the proportion of women in the two aforementioned programs. Gründungsbüro supports this approach by offering exclusive programs for women and helping them to explore the topic of start-ups from a female perspective.

Start.in.RLP
The Start.in.RLP program aims to facilitate the concretization of startup projects and support founders in further developing and bringing their business idea to success in an innovative technology field or in relation to new innovative services, business models, or production methods.
Unterstützung soll es dabei insbesondere bei der Fortschreibung eines tragfähigen Business- und Finanzplans, der Entwicklung marktfähiger Produkte, innovativer Dienstleistungen sowie bei den ersten Schritten in Richtung Markterschließung geben.

GRÜNDUNGS CULTURE
For the Rhineland-Palatinate Technical University and the Kaiserslautern University of Applied Sciences, a vibrant startup culture is an opportunity to contribute to society and simultaneously support the development of our region. All students should have the opportunity to adopt the perspective of an entrepreneur at least once during their studies.
