In four open online workshops, you will learn practical entrepreneurship basics for innovative tech ideas and digital transformation concepts—from entrepreneurial career paths to buyer personas and problem–solution fit, all the way to the investor mindset. The programme is aimed at advanced students, as well as academic and non-academic staff, doctoral candidates, and postdoctoral researchers who want to develop and validate ideas with a clear innovation focus.

Pioneer+ Workshop 1: Your Entrepreneurial Career

This workshop offers a compact introduction to entrepreneurship and shows what different entrepreneurial career paths can look like. Two startups from the RPTU ecosystem will present their ventures and share honest insights, learnings, and key decisions. Afterwards, there will be an open Q&A for all questions about getting started, day-to-day startup life, and challenges.

Pioneer+ Workshop 2: Buyer Persona

Who are your customers—and what problem are you really solving? In this workshop, you’ll learn how to build a clear buyer persona and develop first hypotheses around product-market fit. You’ll work with a specially developed AI tool that guides you step by step through the process. The goal is a sharper understanding of your target group, their needs, and the right solution.

Pioneer + Workshop 3: How Investors tick

What do investors expect in a pitch—and which numbers, signals, and arguments really matter? Frank Petry (serial entrepreneur and business angel) shares insights into typical investor decision-making and what he looks for in teams, markets, and storytelling. You’ll get practical tips on how to present your idea in a more investor-relevant way—plus time for questions.

Pioneer+ Workshop 4: Einführung in das digitale Modul

How do you enter the market and win your first customers? In this Q&A session, startups from the RPTU ecosystem share their experiences with sales, go-to-market, and what actually worked for them. You’ll get concrete lessons learned and can bring in your own questions—especially around channels, outreach, and first deals.

We are PIONEER+ – an international university project that brings entrepreneurship, digital skills and sustainable innovation more strongly into everyday university life.

In the PIONEER+ Online Summer School, we offer short, practical online workshops over several months. The workshops are aimed at students, academic and non-academic staff, doctoral candidates and postdoctoral researchers.
