As a joint institution of the Rheinland-Pfälzische Technische Universität Kaiserslautern-Landau (RPTU) and the Hochschule Kaiserslautern, the Gründungsbüro offers comprehensive support to all students, staff, founders, alumni, and research institutes during the pre-startup phase.
In doing so, we aim not only to reach those interested in founding startups: even outside of self-employment, realistic career planning is the first step toward a successful professional future. Furthermore, we are convinced that, for example, students who have developed an awareness of 'entrepreneurial thinking and action' will find it much easier to plan and pursue individual career paths, whether in traditional employment or in the form of self-employment.
We want to support you with our experience and know-how in viewing your professional future realistically, planning it professionally, and pursuing it purposefully.
The Gründungsbüro is closely connected with the technology transfer offices of both universities. Dr. Cornelia Blau, Head of the Department for Transfer, Innovation, and Sustainability at RPTU, and Dr. Susanne Schohl, Head of the Department for Research and Project Coordination at HS Kaiserslautern, together form the management team.
Rheinland-Pfälzische TECHNISCHE UNIVERSITÄT
Our offices are located on the Kaiserslautern campus in Building 32, behind the entral ibrary. From here, we coordinate all support services. Our offices are situated right next to the Patent und Informationszentrum (PIZ). Therefore, we have very short distances to our colleagues and can often quickly and easily address questions about trademarks, patents, and other intellectual property rights. The central organization for trade fair visits at RPTU is also located on the same floor, ensuring close coordination and enabling us to assist you efficiently with any trade fair-related inquiries.
The campus management, including scouting discussions, your networking with supporters, and the organization of on-site activities, is overseen by Natascha Möller (in Kaiserslautern) and Lukas Theisen (in Landau).
HOCHSCHULE KAISERSLAUTERN
At the University locations Kaiserslautern, Pirmasens and Zweibrücken, assistance in finding your way is provided by the site managers Nadine Ulmen (Zweibrücken and Pirmasens) and Natascha Möller They conduct scouting discussions and connect you with our startup coaches. They also ensure the presence of the startup office at the university and foster strong connections to provide you with optimal support.
